Currie and Brown Construction Project
The Currie & Brown project required the redesign and reconstruction of the Wallumatta Function Centre at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium.
The centre provides a high-quality facility for after-funeral gatherings for all denominations. It enables funeral attendees to remain at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium for post-funeral functions following funerals in the pavilions and chapels. The centre's new sustainable elements include a generator for backup power, rainwater harvesting, storm-water detention and photovoltaic roof panels.
